Fire & Flow Arts

Fire spinning, fire dancing, and flow arts are one of the most unique and expressive forms of physical performance. A combination of technical dexterity and emotive execution, flow arts can be one of the most fun and exciting ways to get your body moving and your heart playing along.

Fire & Flow Nights are every Tuesday night, from 7 PM - 9 PM.

Typical fire nights include a practice technical skills/class session for the first hour, and an "open fire" session in the second hour to practice on fire. There is often a group instruction topic available, and a self study group going simiultaneously. Skills/tools/etc. will vary from night to night, check the Google Calendar on our schedule page to see what the focus is on a particular night!

The first Tuesday of the month is our Flow Jam and Intro session - this is open spinning, and if you're new, there are a host of experienced people who are always excited to help new folks find their footing, pick out tools they feel comfortable with, and get started.

The last Tuesday of every month will be a dedicated Choreography night, to apply skills towards choreographing to music, and getting performers comfortable with the skills they've been practicing when working in small groups.

The goal of our Fire & Flow nights is to get folks attending to bring something to teach, take away something new they've learned, or just practice and refine the art with like-minded peers.

We have loaner fire tools, fuel, and safety equipment available at our studio. Please plan to wear clothes that are easy to move in, and closed toes shoes. NO ARTIFICIAL FABRICS (polyester, nylon, rayon, spandex) may be worn to light up - only natural fibers like cotton, denim, wool, etc.
